
BEAUTYTAP SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
SOCIAL MEDIA VIDEO EDITING
BeautyTap is developing a presence on social media and films a 1 minute video recaps of their beauty editorials to be uploaded to their IG, YT and TikTok accounts. Once I receive the unedited micro-videos they needed to be energetic, exciting, and fit within the respective formats. One size fits all.
Several assets were created and stylized to their branding:

Animated lower thirds/buttons/stickers.

The social media examples that were presented to emulate included quick cuts and snap close ups. This technique was used to enhance specific subjects in the video. Music editing was also necessary for this project. The goal was to grab the viewers attention and keep it there while staying on-brand.
The video below are the final assets delivered. Each would be viewed on IG, YT, and TikTok. Room was left for each app's buttons and input prompts.

PRODUCT VIDEO EDITING
BeautyTap produces various educational & instructional videos for various beauty companies and their products. These projects include Daily Concepts, Vacation and Ulta.

These instructional & educational videos have standard requirements, but each may have their own unique branding style guides requirements. Assets are usually provided, but it may be necessary to create these according to their brand.

DAILY CONCEPTS INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO
The videos and audio for this project were provided by BeautyTap. The cut away B-roll were found from BeautyTaps stock footage site. It was necessary to find and edit music and produce chyrons/motion graphics.
ULTA + VACATION PROMO VIDEO
This company had a fun and unique look; old-school 90's. Think-- windows 97, infomercials, AOL, etc. All the videos and product assets were provided by Vacation. 3 of the product's introductory slides needed to be created in the same style. In order to do so blur fx, color displacement, and noise were utilized in order to match the retro aesthetic. Captions were also created during editing the process.
BRANDED EDUCATIONAL REELS
Beautytap provides informative and educational media to inform and educate prospective clients and creators

Motion graphics and 3d techniques were used in the creation of these assets utilizing After Effects, Illustrator, and Blender. While staying true to brand guidelines and project scope I wanted to include some current transitions and wipes. It is modernistic aesthetic-- clean lines and compositions-- in order to maintain focus on the subject matter. The objects that were created were also kept to a minimalistic approach which calls back to the designs of current tech apps and websites.
